Locale is hiring a passionate Marketing Manager to join our team and help drive expansion in San Diego! You'll report directly to the General Manager and have the opportunity to drive growth both online and offline. As the first marketing hire in San Diego, you’ll own the local marketing strategy and create a meaningful impact on the business while working alongside an ambitious group of passionate foodies and entrepreneurs.
What you'll own and how you'll make a difference:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to acquire new customers, and continually engage and retain them throughout their lifecycle
- Create, manage, and optimize email campaigns through continual A/B testing of creative, copy, timing, offers, targeting, and more.
- Create compelling copy across a variety of communication channels
- Analyze campaign performance and draw conclusions based on data, present takeaways and recommend next steps
- Establish and report on KPIs for all campaigns. Continuously testing to improve key performance metrics
- Design marketing graphics and work alongside the design team
- Identify and execute local marketing initiatives aligned with business priorities including major events, partnerships, seasonal moments, etc
- Other general marketing efforts that contribute to Locale's growth in San Diego
What we're looking for:

- You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- You have 2-4 years marketing experience (email or content marketing is a plus)
- You're creative and have excellent critical thinking skills
- You have copywriting skills and the ability to read and interpret data
- Familiarity with graphic design (Illustrator, Canva etc) and a good eye for design
